NOTE: The
OMA520 fingerprint reader is designed for outdoor installations. For indoor installations,
select the MA500/520.
OMA520 fingerprint scanner biometric terminal
is capable of
operating in
both
identification
(1:N) and
verification
(1:1) modes.
This model offers an amazing internal storage
capacity ranging from 3,000 to 50,000 individuals—as well as two biometric templates
per person! For simplified installation,
the OMA520 terminal
has Power-Over-Ethernet
(POE) capability as well as the standard low-voltage DC input. In addition to RS-232
and RS-485 serial communication ports, they also support 10/100 BaseT with DHCP,
which means no external adaptors are required.
|
The OMA520 boasts quick response times: 1:1 authentication in less than 0.7 seconds,
1:1K identification in less than 0.9 seconds, and 1:10K in less than 1.8 seconds.
The OMA520
MIFARE model
comes equipped with
an internal contact-less smartcard reader, and
the latest advancement in the biometric industry—fake finger detection.
When it comes to access control, the
OMA520 can connect to a Secure Relay Module
for complete stand-alone operations. The
OMA520 can be configured to operate in
"Start", "Start/Stop" or "Stop" modes, making it an ideal solution time & attendance
control.
